I'm. And one of them, it's even one of his books, one is Sakyapandita himself, in Muthukamsa, and it's the story from... And this is a story that in India appeared, I think you call it Sahadu, the Hindi Lama, who just to do, they meditate, and they have very power, magic power. And he uses that, his magic power, and even like kings and queens, if he needs something, they automatically deliver him.
[02:13]
It's like, you know, little things like food, anything he wishes. And what he used was, he prayed, do magic with... In Tibetan word, it exactly means, translated, the Tibetan word is rope, you know, something like a cowboy, catch something. What do you call it? Not strong. Not strong. Okay. But lung is the wind. That's what he used. And shapa is a rope. And he used by wind. Not real rope, but looks like rope. It's a vibration. Some kind of. He does something and brings automatically things.
[03:14]
So anything he did before, he accomplished anything. All the deity he worshipped brings in. But one day he was doing, there was a little boy. young boys walking around and he wanted to bring him. And there's no way, every time he sent this magic and misses and never... So he thought that this is unusual. He can do anybody but this boy. So then Sahadev went to him, asked him, what do you do? You're some unusual boy, you're different. And he went, no, what about your background? He said, I'm nothing, just an ordinary person, but I do on the refuge, like, every day. And I'm Buddhist, and do the refuge. Then he said, how do you do? So he showed her, you know, the refuge, and he gets to do what he thinks, and things. And so I thought, oh, that's interesting, you know. That's because king and queen, anybody I can control but this boy. So he did it, and he had a, you know, he received the power.
[04:19]
and blessing. So later the sadhu became the Buddhist and those boy and sadhu both together practiced Buddhism. This is the last one. Now, refuge teaching, which is labja. Labja means what we are teaching, really practicing. In the labja, there's three things you must avoid when, according to Upanga Buddha, and three things you practice. The first three, what you should avoid is, from today, since you received Jambu's a teaching, you have to avoid that you will not receiving initiation, teaching, from the outside of Buddhists, which are like Hinduism and Muslim, all this, beside the Buddhists, what is not like Buddhists.
[05:42]
And then, And then, that's one. And then... I'm going to tell you a story. [...] Okay, that's the second one. The first one and then second one. The second one is, since you're receiving that Buddhist teaching,
[06:44]
you will not do... The first one is you will not do chakras, not taking any vows and refuges, because you already took the Buddhism teaching. And the second one is you will not going to receive the dharma, jöpa. Jöpa, which is like... In the outside Buddhism culture, chöpa is the other... Yeah, religion, who has most important, just like washing, cleaning, and look, and all this. But this Nongpa Sangye, Buddhism is inside. Most important is inside. Inside you have to do practice and clean up. This is too, too, not too. Too, too means clean up. Like a... They even go in the water and wash it, they say all my sins are gone, there's no baptism.
[08:15]
Do you receive any religious rituals? Rituals? No, neither. And this is all baptism, it's just washing, you're outside this thing. And the same is all in Buddhism, it's inside, not outside. Outside it's just like in the dirt, that's not the one. Like ascetic practices? The external setting practices. External, yes. External. That's exactly. And do the internal practices. That way all of them are the opposite. And teach others. There's somebody comes to my place. Who is it? I don't know who it is. [...] In Buddhism, there is no I. Everything is emptiness, right? But in the outside Buddhism, we call it Muslim and other religions, there is always to yourself, you, you, everything is me. Da means I. And that's the very opposite.
[09:33]
You don't think that in practice. Shilpa, which is what you do, shilpa is like some religions do the killing lots of lives, offering that life, even like blood and all the things you received, all merit and all this good things, but this is a completely void you have to use. From the day you received the Buddha's teaching with the refuge, because not harm any sentient beings.
[10:35]
And it's not just, you know, like killing, but don't even harm the other sentient beings. That's all the Buddha's teaching. And what do you see? The Buddha's images and thangkas and pictures and all these are not Real Buddha, not real Buddha. Even you see the monks, not really Buddhist sangha. But they are simulated.
[11:38]
Symbolic. Symbolic. Everything's symbolic, so... It's not true one. But even that, you do... you respect and... And, for example, if you see Buddha's images on the floor, you must lift it up, put it in a higher place. And even a large statue is not the whole statue, even a piece, because it's a Buddha statue. And so when you see the piece of the monk's clothes, you just pick it up, don't use it or anything, just put it up in a higher place. go over or don't use it for some, you know, using like the dirty things. And so also the books, Buddhist, everything's all the Tibetan books and the Buddhist teaching, most are. And when you see the books or you use the books, and be sure, do very carefully hand it and put on higher place.
[12:48]
Don't put it on. And he noticed the Gaji Center is a very good Because each one has their own table, and they bring some, and they put it on the table, and they put it back, and they use it. He likes that very much. He uses, he hopes, the books he doesn't like to see on the floor. Sometimes people are walking over, and also, that he say to see. For example, this is a Buddhist, really Buddhist teaching, most important in the book. And when he sees somebody misusing the books, he gets really mad. And someone is using it, you know, when the page is turning over. And one of the Geshe in the plaza said, really people don't know how to use the books. They don't know. They have faith in Buddha, but they don't know how. If somebody comes with a noble man,
[13:49]
is to put a little bit of his wick on the face. What happens? How could he really get mad? It's the same thing you're doing in the books. So, you better think that it's the most important part. If you do carefully and respectably, and even you are receiving the, you know, all the wisdom and blessing, if you misuse it, that something happens, un-worship things, I don't know what to say. [...] Namaste. Namaste. Namaste. Namaste. Who is Lama Kunti?
[15:18]
He's a relative of ours, a great great uncle. He's a very very learned Lama. And he said Lama Kunti is very strict, he's always afraid. So one day he said, bring the book back, I want to read it. So he took the book and also the water, a glass of water. With one of this offering water, it's not even a cup. He was so, so always ready to do the thing. He was thirteen. He was thirteen, so always ready, anything to do with the close of his. He just, he's never paying attention. He was really doing his best. bring books here in the cupboard. I mean, she thought it was here. And when she first handed me a book, so he did it. You know, this book is not that large that it has some kind of wood in it.
[16:23]
It's really so hard. And then I went out. Since then, he's always prayed and do it very carefully. I was a double detective, Jane. So now, you all have probably got some teaching and explanation, so we will do it all together and refugee one and maybe do about 100 refugees together. Thank you. Excuse me, would you tell me what page you're on, sir? Page three. Page three. For my body and my mind is such a congenition that the Ganga will not disappear.
