I gave a talk in New York City at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine as part of a series sponsored by the Linda's Farm Fellows on Tassajara as an example of an intentional community. [12:14]

This is like a fast parade of helium balloons that went up. And a lot of people said, yes, I want to be part of this. Even if I never go and put my feet on the ground, I want to be part of this. And we raised more than half the money. Green Gulch was in a lot of ways easier.

So I do jikon walking sitting. Jikon walking sitting. That's my morning practice. That's the minimum of my morning practice, and sometimes I do more in the afternoon. And what I've noticed is that since I've started adding consequence and emphasize the same amount of walking as sitting by different people who have different go into rigidity.

[20:05]

But also, and this is partially my age, I'm not practicing with young'uns. We'll see. I've just recently been invited to start teaching up in Mendocino County in Ukiah and in the Anderson Valley. And we'll see who shows up. But so far, who shows up is not 18 to 24-year-olds. psychological mindset. In other words, finding an appropriate and wholesome relationship to the body rather than trying to fit the body like water into an ice cube square. Well, my aim is to, by focusing on the

[33:42]

And I'm a great advocate of spying. I shop around, get a direct experience of different teachers. And then when you are drawn to somebody, spy on them for three years. And then maybe Oh yeah! That might be.
