How things exist there, right here, right now. How things is not matter of discussion. Suffering is not matter of discussion. And as Rukhasan, if you continue to do so, as a Rukhasan, it is impossible to understand what how things is, what happiness is, what suffering is. He was asked by one of priest, what is the use of reading Analects? I want to read, I want to know the patriarch's life. What is the use of knowing the patriarch's life? No purpose, nothing to explain. If you say, if you study Buddhism, of course you can explain what Buddhism is, what Buddha is. But as has been said before, such explanation is, it seems, to go through a series of your ideas, which emerges from your conscience, from your knowledge, studying Buddhism.

In the book, Gate with Gate, probably you know about the story. Joshu watches the ball. A monk told Joshu, I have just entered the monastery, please teach me. Joshu asked, have you eaten your rice porridge? The monk replied, I have eaten. Joshu said, then you had better watch your ball. Watch your ball. At that time, at that moment, the monk was enlightened.

And a woman composed a poem after their stories. It is very interesting. It is too clear, and so it is hard to see. A dance once asserted for fire with a lightning lantern. Had he known what fire was, he could have cooked his rice much sooner. It means, light is light. It means the rice is already cooked. It is very simple. It is very simple.

Too simple to understand what it means. A mountain exists there. This is his reason to cry. This is very simple. But this is real reason. If you want to become a skillful mountaineer, Why do you cannot explain why in a various way?

You are not still a skillful mountaineer. Life is something you study, something you listen to. If you listen to your life, with your Buddha foot, in your lifetime, through your lifetime, this life is not a matter of discussing.

Discussion from your own viewpoint. You consist in just a matter of life, and death, and sufferings, and twelve chains of causations. Because they exist, really. That time, that's why Buddhism says, Accept your life. Accept your life. When you understand the world in that way, you are willing to accept your life with impermeable composure.

Impermeable to feel. Impermeable composure is to walk step by step. Then Shaliputra and Shaliputra confessed before the Buddha. I felt that it was our own fault, not the Lord. Buddha says, life is suffering. It is not wrong principles. It is on the wrong side of life. It is just a skillful means to lead human beings to understand better their own life.

Then Shaliputra says, For that we regard it, the Lord, the Lord, at the time of His giving the all-surpassing demonstration of the law. The all-surpassing demonstration of the law is an important point. In other words, there is a reason, as skillful mountaineer says, A mountain exists there. That's why I climb. Even though there is lots of troubles, hard experience, or sufferings, He can, He can be willing to accept these.

Because there is nothing but the all-surpassing demonstration of the law taught by Buddha. There is, but this, the all-surpassing demonstration of the law, such as suffering and hard things, hard experience, hard effort, is the exposition of the supreme and perfect enlightenment. He thinks, he thought, that is his first wrong step, on the wrong side of life.

Then Sutra says, But because without understanding the mystery of the Lord, Without understanding the mystery of the Lord, means as the Uman Sutra says, It is too clear to understand what it is. But everything is already cooked. Rice is cooked. Suffering is already cooked. Hard things are already cooked. If you eat it, please wash your bowl. There is nothing to do but eating the rice and washing the bowl.

Then Shaliputra says, But because without understanding the mystery of the Lord, we at the moment of the Bodhisattvas now being assembled, are only in a hurry, quote, meditated, minded, took to heart, the first lessons pronounced on the law, before the Lord, are used to pass day and night in self-reports. But when you can listen to your heart, when you can listen to the silence which is left, in a few minutes, in a few minutes later,

after realizing the monologue of your suffering, which is reigning in the midst of death, or birth, or suffering, hard things, you can accept how you walk, how you walk in your daily life. At that time, even though you suffer from it so much, nobody can help you.

You just accept it. You just listen to the silence and the voice of your steps with the input of your composure. This is Buddhism. This is Buddhism. This is Shaliputra's treasure, bliss, when he listened to the Buddha's teaching. I'm sorry I don't have enough time to have your questions.
